Advisor Logistics Strengthens Leadership to Accelerate Outsourced Trading for RIAs

Advisor Logistics, a fast-growing outsourced trading platform for Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), announced new ownership and executive leadership to drive its next phase of expansion. The restructuring aims to enhance outsourced trading services, foster innovation, and provide RIAs with scalable solutions.

Brett Wheeler, the company’s founder, continues as CEO. He is joined at the board level by Eric Martz and Damon Deru. At the executive level, Jupiter Bridge assumes the role of Head of Growth, and Jessica Pohto steps in as Vice President of Technical Product. Together, the team brings decades of experience in financial services, trading technology, and advisor-focused solutions.

Driving Innovation and Scaling Operations

Martz, a seasoned entrepreneur and angel investor, brings strategic expertise in scaling businesses. He will focus on expanding operations, advancing the product roadmap, and delivering advisor-centric innovation.

Deru, a pioneer in trading solutions for financial advisors, adds product expertise to the leadership team. He previously founded AdvisorPeak, acquired by Addepar, and TradeWarrior, acquired by Oranj. With a background as a financial advisor, Deru has built solutions that meet the complex trading needs of RIAs. His focus at Advisor Logistics will be on product innovation and platform advancement.

Founded in 2018, Advisor Logistics offers RIAs outsourced trading and portfolio administration services. The platform streamlines back-office operations, lowers overhead, and enables firms to focus on higher-value functions. By partnering with Advisor Logistics, RIAs reduce risk, accelerate growth, and avoid building expensive in-house trading infrastructure.

A Strategic Shift for RIA Growth

“Our mission is to remove the burden of trading from RIAs entirely,” said Martz. “We handle implementation, administration, and trading with the efficiency of an institutional desk, without the overhead.”

Deru added, “RIAs are increasingly adopting outsourced trading to boost margins, reduce compliance risks, and streamline operations. I’m excited to join Advisor Logistics and deliver the high-touch service our RIA partners expect.”

Wheeler concluded, “We have spent years refining our service model. With this new leadership and ownership structure, we are ready to scale, strengthen awareness, and expand our impact across the RIA market.”
