Pleo Introduces New Agentic Capabilities Transforming Financial Management and Decision-Making

Financial Management

Pleo has introduced Agentic AI to reshape financial management and decision-making. Agentic AI will improve the adoption process of this technology in finance teams. In addition, it helps in minimizing administrative work and enhancing efficiency.

The company launched a suite of AI agents that automate routine spend management tasks. In this regard, finance managers can concentrate on making decisions. Earlier, finance teams encountered challenges of inefficiency and tedious approval processes. However, Agentic AI has enabled more effective processes in this case.

The finance teams are increasingly under pressure because of legacy processes and the complexities involved. Furthermore, inefficient approval processes cause delays in many cases. Nevertheless, most finance managers understand the significance of adopting AI.

“There is no shortage of AI in hiring right now. What’s harder to find is AI that actually makes hiring better, not just faster,” said Meredith Johnson, Chief Product Officer of Greenhouse. “We built these capabilities to strengthen the decisions people make, not to replace them. Each one works inside structured hiring, so teams get a stronger signal, less manual work, and outputs they can explain and stand behind. AI can inform and surface insights, but the hiring decision is always yours.”

AI Agents Enhance Financial Control and Efficiency

Pleo addresses these challenges through specialized AI agents. AI agents include functions like expense management, invoicing, and cash flow management. As a result, potential problems may be detected earlier, and greater financial control is attained. Simultaneously, only the most important decisions have to be made manually. Additionally, Pleo makes use of a special MCP server that links AI applications from outside.

As a consequence, finance teams may benefit from the information without changing their platform. On top of that, the information security of users will be guaranteed. Thus, the development of Pleo demonstrates the rise in the significance of agentic AI in finance transformation.

“Once I got into Claude Code and the Greenhouse MCP, it unlocked so much usability,” said Emily Gransky, Head of Talent, Formation Bio. “What I did yesterday was I just told Claude Code, ‘these are the ones that I need to change,’ and it did. Normally, that would have taken me an hour.”

“Most AI in hiring today adds speed without adding clarity. We chose a different path,” said Robby Perdue, VP of Product Management at Greenhouse. “These capabilities are integrated directly into the structured hiring workflow, enabling teams to gain clearer signals while reducing manual effort,  and they can still explain and stand behind every decision they make. AI does the heavy lifting, people make the call.”
