Abrigo made the announcement that it has developed a new agentic platform called the Abrigo Agentic Platform Experience (APX). This platform is intended to assist financial institutions in automating, orchestrating, and scaling their working processes across their growth and risk management roles.
The Abrigo Agentic Platform Experience for lending will be launched in the third quarter of 2026. It will cover the entire life cycle of a loan, beginning with pipeline management and underwriting and continuing through closure, servicing, and portfolio administration. The platform delivers AI-powered execution while maintaining institution-specific human oversight and guardrails.
Abrigo has developed a new agentic ai platform.
Despite the fact that fragmented lending procedures delay growth and harm consumer experiences, financial institutions continue to face increasing demands from customers, competitors, and operational issues. Abrigo estimates agentic AI can reduce manual labor by over 40% while improving the borrower experience. This added capacity can help lenders spend more time with customers. As Datos Insights discovered that nearly four out of ten enterprises had not met with their major credit provider within the previous two years.
“The future of AI in community banking isn’t about replacing people; it’s about helping them have a greater impact,” said John Brichetto, president and CEO of Santa Fe-based Century Bank. “Through our collaboration with Abrigo, we’ve seen the potential for agentic lending to give our teams more time to advise customers, strengthen local businesses, and deliver the personal service that differentiates community financial institutions – while maintaining the strong governance our institution depends on,” added Brichetto.
“Our customers expect responsive service, trusted advice, and bankers who understand their goals. That’s what sets our bank apart,” said Kent Curtis, the president and CEO of First Southwest Bank in Durango, Colo. “As we work with Abrigo on the future of agentic lending, we’re excited about the potential to create more capacity for our teams to focus on customers, deepen relationships, and deliver an even greater impact across the communities we serve.”
Abrigo’s deep data network powers the Agentic Banking Platform.
AI agents validate information against institution policies and provide teams with a clear understanding of progress, priorities, and exceptions. Abrigo’s AI agents proactively coordinate and complete tasks such as document collection, data review, exception handling, and quality control across lending operations. In contrast to traditional workflow tools that merely track tasks and necessitate human intervention to advance processes.
“We built Abrigo APX with explainability, governance, and operational control at its core because financial institutions need AI that can scale responsibly,” said Ravi Nemalikanti, Chief Product and Technology Officer of Abrigo. “Abrigo’s agentic banking platform combines institution-specific policy guardrails, clear decision explanations, complete audit history, and continuous quality control monitoring to help financial institutions scale AI-driven operations with confidence.”
“Community banks and credit unions are looking for ways to use AI that actually fit how they operate, and make a difference in the lives of their customers and members, with the controls and accountability their regulators expect,” said Charith Mendis, Banking Leader, Amazon Web Services. “Abrigo’s platform on AWS lets these institutions move well beyond point automation toward fully orchestrated, agentic systems, automating complex lending workflows end-to-end while keeping humans in the loop where it matters.”
Abrigo plans to launch the Agentic Platform Experience for lending in the third quarter of 2026. This will continue to broaden its agentic capabilities across product lines in the upcoming quarters as part of its AI strategy. Abrigo expands its AI capabilities with this platform, building on the features it introduced in 2025. These capabilities include Ask Abrigo, the company’s AI banking agent, and Abrigo’s Lending, Allowance, Loan Review, and AML Assistants.
