GrowIt Chooses Modern Treasury to Streamline Real Estate Payment Operations

GrowIt

GrowIt has selected Modern Treasury to strengthen its payment infrastructure for real estate capital raises. GrowIt will use Modern Treasury’s Payment Service Provider (PSP) to automate payment operations across its investment platform. GrowIt expects the integration to simplify investor fund collection, management, and distributions through one unified Payments API.

The partnership enables sponsors and investors to move funds using ACH, RTP, FedNow, and wire transfers. As a result, payment processing becomes faster, more reliable, and easier to manage throughout every investment lifecycle.

Modern Treasury announced the partnership as GrowIt continues expanding its all-in-one platform for real estate syndications, joint ventures, and investment funds. The platform helps sponsors and general partners manage every stage of capital raising. It handles entity formation, SEC compliance filings, legal documentation, and investor onboarding within one system.

Consequently, sponsors can move from deal creation to capital raising in as little as seven days. Once an investment launches, GrowIt provides one centralized platform to onboard investors, collect capital, and distribute returns efficiently. To date, the company has created more than 100 special purpose vehicles (SPVs). Additionally, it supports more than $100 million in equity under management.

Unified Payments API Simplifies Investment Operations

GrowIt, part of Modern Treasury, automates the movement of money from the moment of every investment through to final distributions. The platform can programmatically open and manage payment accounts per investment entity. And each account has its own unique account and routing numbers.

The integrated solution also enables GrowIt to raise investor capital and monitor funding progress in real time. Sponsors can also reconcile incoming payments without the need for manual processes. The platform also allows investors to pay via ACH, RTP, FedNow and wire transfer, all through one Payments API.

Modern Treasury allows GrowIt to:

  • Programmatically open and manage named payment accounts for each syndicate, joint venture, fund.
  • Raise funding capital from investors and track funding status real-time.
  • Distribute investor proceeds via ACH, RTP, FedNow and wire transfers.
  • Watch capital raised, held and distributed across every investment in real time.

This unified infrastructure takes GrowIt’s bigger goal of cutting out manual administrative work from real estate fundraising to the next level. This means that sponsors can focus more on investment opportunities rather than payment administration.

“Sponsors come to us because they want to spend their time closing deals instead of chasing down accounts and wiring distributions by hand,” said Lucas Parelius, Co-Founder and CEO of GrowIt. “Modern Treasury lets us move investor capital in and distributions back out, over ACH, RTP, FedNow, and wires, without building or maintaining that infrastructure ourselves, so we can keep our promise of a fixed timeline and fixed cost to every sponsor on our platform.”

GrowIt’s decision reflects a broader trend among rapidly growing SaaS companies. Although payment infrastructure remains business-critical, many software providers prefer to integrate specialized payment technology rather than develop and maintain it internally. Consequently, businesses can dedicate engineering resources to product innovation while relying on trusted financial infrastructure providers.

“GrowIt is giving sponsors something that a notoriously manual industry hasn’t had before,” said Matt Marcus, Co-Founder and CEO of Modern Treasury. “We’re proud to reliably power the payments underneath that promise, so GrowIt can focus on delivering it at scale.”

The collaboration highlights the increasing demand for embedded payments, fintech infrastructure, payment automation, and API-driven financial services across the real estate technology sector. As digital investment platforms continue to evolve, integrated payment solutions remain essential for improving operational efficiency, investor experiences, and scalable growth.
