Pepper Advantage Appoints Matthew Wye as CEO to Drive UK Credit Management Growth

Matthew Wye

Pepper Advantage has announced the appointment of Matthew Wye as Chief Executive Officer of Pepper Advantage UK, effective October 2026 subject to regulatory approval. Pepper Advantage appointed Wye to lead its expanding UK credit management business. He will also lead mortgage servicing operations we acquired from Computershare earlier this year. Pepper Advantage bolsters credit management capabilities across the UK market and continues to expand its leadership team.

Matthew Wye has over 20 years of experience in credit management and financial services. He is currently the Managing Director of Future Bank Delivery at Metro Bank, joining the company. He was formerly Director of Lending Operations and Head of Lending and Securities at Metro Bank. He also held senior leadership roles at Crown Mortgage Management and Barclays Bank. Wye has been driving operational excellence, improving lending operations, digital banking services and customer experience throughout his career.

Pepper Advantage Enhances UK Credit Management Strategy

Matthew Wye is joining the Pepper Advantage leadership team as the business looks to extend its expertise across the full credit lifecycle. “In addition, the company aims to on-board more client portfolios and accelerate the deployment of its proprietary credit management technology platform, PRISM. The business will continue to integrate the mortgage servicing operations acquired from Computershare. So Pepper Advantage is seeking to improve operational efficiency, service quality and overall client experience across its UK operations.

Meanwhile, the current CEO of Pepper Advantage UK, Aaron Milburn, will move to the role of Managing Director of Credit Access. In this position, he will be involved in business development and in reinforcing relationships with current and potential clients. Milburn and Wye will also collaborate to drive new business growth through the company’s wider UK infrastructure and service capabilities.

Fraser Gemmell, Group CEO of Pepper Advantage, said: “We are delighted to welcome Matthew to Pepper Advantage. His appointment reflects our strategy of driving operational efficiencies as we continue to incorporate PRISM, our proprietary credit management platform, across the entire business. The integration of the mortgage servicing business we acquired from Computershare has given us scale and with Matthew onboard, we have the opportunity to transform our combined business in a meaningful way. Additionally, having Aaron as our Managing Director for Credit Access will allow us to leverage our wider capabilities to bring a more diverse offering to new and existing clients. His proven abilities and strong client relationships make Aaron the right person for this important role. Together, he and Matt will lead our team in the UK as we pursue the significant opportunities ahead.”

Matthew Wye added: “I’ve spent my career in credit and have watched Pepper Advantage grow into the impressive business it is today. Pepper Advantage combines exceptional people, a genuine technological edge, and the scale to make a significant impact in this market. The UK credit management landscape is evolving rapidly and I’m excited to join a dynamic business at such a pivotal moment. I look forward to working with the entire team to expand our offering together.”

Aaron Milburn said: “The demand for flexible, reliable credit solutions has never been greater. Clients and customers across the UK are looking for partners who can support their ambitions and help them grow. That is precisely what we are positioned to do. I am excited to be working with Matt and our talented team to expand the range of opportunities we offer clients and help them find the solutions best suited to their needs.”
