Fasset, the AI-powered stablecoin neobanking platform, has reached a $1 billion valuation after securing $68 million in Series C funding. Fasset raised the latest round with SBI Group leading the investment. The funding follows Fasset’s $51 million Series B round announced in May 2026. That earlier round brought Speedinvest onto Fasset’s cap table alongside several strategic investors.
With the latest financing, Fasset has raised $119 million during 2026. Consequently, the company has entered the global fintech unicorn category as its business continues to expand. Fasset will use the new capital to expand Own network. The regulated financial network connects banks, telcos, payment providers, and liquidity providers.
It enables settlement across international markets and supports Fasset’s broader financial infrastructure. Additionally, the company plans to increase its investment in agentic AI-enabled systems. These systems will support corridor banking, stablecoin settlement, and tokenized asset infrastructure. Therefore, Fasset aims to strengthen the technology supporting cross-border financial activity.
SBI Group Expands Strategic Partnership With Fasset
SBI Group led the Series C investment as Fasset continues expanding its international financial network. The investment also strengthens the relationship between the two companies.
“Fasset’s vision of a world in which money moves across borders as easily as information does point in the same direction as the on-chain economic zone that the SBI Group seeks to realize through digital finance. Fasset has already built a strong business foundation and a robust regulatory framework in a number of emerging markets with significant long-term growth potential. It was therefore in the conviction that Fasset can serve as an important financial bridge connecting Japan with high-growth markets around the world that we decided to lead this round. Within the SBI Group’s “SBI APAC Digital Economic Zone” concept as well, an international remittance and settlement infrastructure built on stablecoins is a core component. Together with Fasset, we will advance the development of the next generation of on-chain financial systems, extending from the Asia-Pacific region to the Middle East and Africa.” said Yoshitaka Kitao, Representative Director, Chairman, President & CEO, SBI Holdings, Inc.
SBI Group ranks among Japan’s leading comprehensive financial groups. Its operations span banking, securities, asset management, and private equity. The group has also invested in companies including Ripple, Circle, and Morpho. In addition, its portfolio includes group companies such as B2C2. Fasset expects the relationship to provide broader access to SBI Group’s financial ecosystem. The partnership can also help the company expand its reach across international payment markets.
“The next phase is about any-to-any banking. Any person to any person. Any asset to any asset. Any rail to any rail, anywhere. We built Fasset to address a simple problem: access to financial opportunity still depends too heavily on where someone lives and the financial system available to them,” said Mohammad Raafi Hossain, Co-Founder and CEO of Fasset. “The banking system is broken. It’s not enough to build another financial front on current rails. We are investing deeper into the stack, from licenses in emerging markets to enabling agentic payments, to rebuild the way we do banking from the ground up.”
“Having SBI Group lead this round speeds up our ability to serve the world by having access to the wider SBI financial ecosystem and their partners, including our previously announced partnership with SBI Remit, enabling us to leverage an extensive network that supports bank account remittances to approximately 200 countries.”
Fasset Builds Infrastructure Around Digital Ownership
Fasset provides financial services that allow customers to receive, hold, move, spend, and invest across markets. Customers can also access multiple currencies and asset classes through the platform. Own Network supports these financial products and services. The infrastructure connects local banking systems, payment providers, financial institutions, telcos, and liquidity providers.
It also connects custody partners and settlement networks across more than 100 banking corridors. As a result, Fasset can support financial activity across a broad range of international markets. Stablecoins operate as settlement infrastructure across parts of the network. They can help move value between markets more efficiently where appropriate.
However, customers interact with Fasset through financial products and accounts. They do not need to manage the underlying settlement infrastructure themselves. Fasset also applies AI to improve transaction routing across different financial rails. The system considers factors such as cost, speed, liquidity, and availability. The company continues to build around a core financial access principle. Fasset believes a person’s location should not determine access to money, markets, or assets.
“Fasset is building the regulated infrastructure that helps people and businesses in growth markets access stablecoins, global assets and cross-border rails. That access is still too often shaped by geography. Raafi, Daniel and the team are changing that, and we are proud to have continued backing Fasset as it scales globally,” said Stefan Klestil, General Partner at Speedinvest.
Fasset Processes More Than $40B in Annualized Volume
Fasset has now reached more than $40 billion in annualized transaction volume. The platform serves more than 3 million wallets across 125 countries. The company also serves more than 1,000 enterprises across its global markets. Meanwhile, its consumer, business, and institutional products continue to expand. Fasset supports these products through a regulatory footprint spanning the GCC, Asia, Europe, and other international markets.
The latest Series C funding will support further infrastructure development. It will also help Fasset expand its position as an AI-powered stablecoin neobanking platform. The company combines regulated local financial infrastructure with modern settlement technology. It also provides access to global assets through a single financial account.
As a result, Fasset aims to create a broader financial network for consumers and businesses. The company will continue investing in AI, stablecoin infrastructure, tokenization, and cross-border banking. The latest funding round gives Fasset additional capital to scale these capabilities. It also strengthens the company’s position within the rapidly developing fintech and digital finance sectors.
