SOLVE is expanding fixed income data and analytics capabilities across the trade lifecycle. The company introduced several product enhancements for fixed income professionals. These updates connect market data, analytics, and trading workflows more closely. The enhancements cover structured products, trading workflows, and analytics. They include the new TRACE Data Product Suite and an enhanced BWIC Monitor and Workflow. SOLVE also expanded its Relative Value Analysis capabilities. Together, these updates strengthen how professionals use fixed income data during daily trading activities. They also help users move from market signals to trading decisions faster.
SOLVE provides pre-trade data and predictive pricing for fixed income securities markets. The company announced the latest enhancements as part of its ongoing product development.
“Markets are generating more data than ever, and the firms that win are the ones that can turn that data into a decision the fastest,” said Eugene Grinberg, Co-Founder and CEO of SOLVE. “These enhancements are about giving our clients the context behind the information, the workflow and the signal quality to act on what they already have in front of them, whether that’s a TRACE print, a live BWIC list, or a relative value screen.”
New TRACE Data Product Suite Strengthens Fixed Income Data
TRACE Data Product Suite powers SOLVE’s expanded structured products data capabilities. The suite includes TRACE Activity Feed, Derived TRACE and TBA Monitor. The TRACE Activity Feed integrates official TRACE-reported trade activity into the SOLVE | MBS Source workflow. It also places trade information next to important security level context Users can view collateral characteristics, historical bids, BWIC results and color. This allows traders to see the trade prints in a broader market context.
This allows the user to see where a security traded during its pricing history. It also provides more data for assessing the current market activity. The TRACE Data Product Suite supports a variety of structured product types. These include Agency MBS, Non-Agency MBS, CMOs, ABS and CMBS. Such other eligible securities as are available and permitted may be covered. The suite in turn gives fixed income product professionals better access to relevant fixed income data.
Enhanced BWIC Monitor Supports Trading Desk Workflows
SOLVE also upgraded the BWIC Monitor within SOLVE Quotes. The enhancements help structured credit desks manage multiple live BWICs more efficiently. The workflow now supports activity from list arrival through the bid deadline. New features include Pin and Hide capabilities. These tools allow users to prioritize the BWIC lists they actively manage. Meanwhile, security-level Status gives teams a shared view of individual securities. Team members can mark securities as Pass, Bid, Won, or Lost. These statuses remain visible across the desk. Hover-over details also show who assigned each status.
Therefore, teams are better able to coordinate their work. They also reduce duplication in active bidding processes. SOLVE updated to include change tracking for new and updated BWICs and securities. The feature identifies changes to size and due date. It also shows securities added and removed. Also, inline notes enable users to save their thoughts directly against individual securities. This helps teams keep important context as they do the active pricing work.
The enhanced workflow also brings several data points together. These include dealer inventory, current holders, and historical quote activity. Users can also access best bid and offer information. They can review SOLVE Px predictive levels within the same workflow. Consequently, traders can reduce the need to switch between multiple systems while pricing a list.
Expanded Relative Value Analysis Improves Trading Insights
SOLVE announced the launch of Relative Value Analysis by Cohorts to expand Access to Relative Value Insights in June. The company is standard traders and portfolio managers to access these insights. It’s also helping users to handle and implement those insights in day-to-day trading. There is a new Analyzes Panel, giving you constant access to the analyzes SOLVE provides. It also supports user created analysis within SOLVE Quotes. Inline renaming also makes saved analyzes easier to manage. This allows users to improve their analyzes more effectively within their existing workflow.
SOLVE also improved the Constituents Widget. Users can filter and sort dealer tax indications by timeframe, side and source. These options allow traders to quickly spot actionable opportunities in a cohort. This enables users to work with relative value insights more directly. The latest enhancements improve SOLVE’s Bond vs. Cohort and Cohort vs. Cohort models. Taken together, these features make fixed income analytics more accessible when used in conjunction with daily trading activity.
“What ties these product enhancements together is the connection between data, signal and workflow,” said Michael Pellerito, Managing Director, Head of Product at SOLVE. “TRACE Activity Feed gives structured products desks the context behind a print. The BWIC Monitor gives structured credit desks a shared, real-time view of a live bid process. And the Analyses Panel makes relative value analysis something a trader lives in every day, not a report they pull up occasionally. In every case, we’re reducing the distance between having information and being able to act on it.”
