Tribe Payments has appointed Alex Lim as Head of Sales and Solutions, Asia-Pacific. The payments fintech specializes in issuer and acquirer processing.
Alex Lim moves to Tribe from Pure Commerce, which is owned by Euronet Worldwide. He worked as the General Manager of Merchant Services, Asia-Pacific, before that. In his new capacity, Lim will be reporting to Matt Weir, General Manager of Asia-Pacific, at Tribe.
His areas of responsibility will encompass developing new businesses and forming partnerships. In addition, he will be overseeing regional solution design efforts. With 13 years of experience in the payments sector, Lim has played key roles in sales, partnerships, and product development. At Pure Commerce, he managed business development and solution design in the APAC region.
Tribe Payments Expands Its Asia-Pacific Payments Operations
It will help Tribe continue investing in payments across Asia Pacific, following the company’s Singapore office opening in 2024. This office will be helpful in dealing with existing clients and developing partnerships in the region.
Tribe provides end-to-end digital payment solutions through its modular, API-first architecture. Its technology supports fintechs and banks across card and non-card payment environments.
