“The appointment is very important,” said Maayan Cohen, founder and CEO of Hello Heart.

Cohen’s comments underscore the company’s ambitions to boost its market share. It also points out the necessity of financial leadership as Hello Heart scales its AI-powered healthcare platform.

Hello Heart Launches AI-Driven Preventive Heart Health

Hello Heart is creating an AI platform to help detect cardiovascular risks earlier. The platform also encourages people to take preventive measures before health complications get worse.

This is achieved by the use of longitudinal health data, connected devices and personalized guidance. These features enable users to know about their heart health and help them make informed choices for managing cardiovascular risks. The platform is thus intended to help with preventive healthcare, and to improve how people monitor their heart health.

Hello Heart has introduced the ability of its artificial intelligence models (AI) to detect the increased risk of heart ailments over a shorter time frame of up to 90 days into the future, in contrast with the conventional methods of determining cardiovascular risks, which rely on a longer timeframe of 10 years. As such, it is possible for people to prevent the impending risks earlier on.

In this regard, the introduction of artificial intelligence into healthcare is becoming more commonplace. For instance, AI can offer the functionality of a preventive medicine platform, which calculates personal risks and ultimately gives suitable advice on how to avoid medical problems. In line with the company strategy and growth plans, Hello Heart appointed Charles MacGlashing as its CFO.

New CFO to Lead Financial Strategy and Business Expansion

MacGlashing brings more than 20 years of experience across finance, capital markets, investing, corporate development, and strategic planning. Before his tenure at HubSpot, he spent more than a decade working as a global equity research analyst at Putnam Investments.

Throughout his career, he has developed experience in financial analysis and the growth strategies of technology companies. His background also includes investor relations and engagement with public markets. Consequently, Hello Heart expects his experience to support its financial planning and long-term corporate objectives.

The finances of Hello Heart will be handled by MacGlashing. He will also help in creating implementation infrastructure, capital allocation, and corporate strategy. This role helps facilitate the company’s growth and manage its finances.

MacGlashing also shared his perspective on joining the company.

“I’ve spent much of my career studying and helping build high-growth technology companies, and Hello Heart has a rare combination: a massive market, differentiated technology, demonstrated outcomes, and a mission that matters,” said MacGlashing. “The company has already built a substantial business, but what attracted me most is how much opportunity is still ahead. I’m excited to partner with Maayan and the team to build a company that can define a category and create lasting impact at an enormous scale.”

His comments emphasize the company’s market opportunity and its focus on preventive healthcare. Furthermore, his appointment brings additional financial leadership to a business operating at the intersection of healthcare and artificial intelligence.

Study Highlights Healthcare Savings and Patient Outcomes

Hello Heart’s healthcare platform also reported positive findings on healthcare utilization and costs. A peer-reviewed study in Value in Health found that Hello Heart users had 47% fewer inpatient hospital days. The study also found lower annual health care costs per member of more than $1,700. The results underscore the potential financial advantages of preventive heart health programs.

Controlling healthcare costs continues to be a top priority for employers and healthcare organizations. At the same time, preventive health efforts can serve to motivate people to track their health and take action sooner on potential risks. Thus, Hello Heart’s reported results offer relevant context for its ongoing expansion via employer and health plan partnerships.

The combination of the company’s utilization of AI technologies, personalized healthcare experience, and although significant achievements in healthcare economically enhance the company’s overall business proposition. However, the association of the findings of research does not mean that platform is the only reason for these achievements.

As for MacGlashing, he is going to take care of fiscal strategy and financial management while the company is growing. His work in such companies as HubSpot and Putnam Investments give him financial knowledge and skills for leadership purposes.

Hello Heart is planning to expand thanks to the tremendous 50% growth in the annual recurring revenue in 2025 and similar performance in 2026. The company is now waiting for CFO Charles MacGlashing to take the next steps in this expansion process
