ACI Worldwide is advancing real-time payments by powering Rabobank’s migration to the Wero platform. The switch helps Europe develop its digital payment landscape.
iDEAL, the most popular Dutch payment solution, is now being switched to Wero for Rabobank. Thus, Rabobank gains more options for implementing real-time payments within Europe. What is more, through Wero, instant account-to-account transfers can be made between partnering banks.
Previously, iDEAL transactions relied on standard SEPA Credit Transfer systems. However, Rabobank now shifts volumes to the SEPA Instant infrastructure. Therefore, payments will process in real time with continuous availability.
