Affirm and Virgin Media O2 Launch Flexible Device Financing for O2

Affirm

Affirm and Virgin Media O2 today announced a new payment option for O2 customers across the United Kingdom. It would offer device financing for mobile phones and hardware at checkout. New and existing customers in O2 are allowed to make choices of monthly plans that suit their budgets. Affirm will make available multiple transparent pay-over-time plans with upfront prices. Customers will never be charged late fees or hidden costs on these plans. Unlike credit cards, these financing plans will not include compound interest. Approved customers will see their payment options clearly during checkout. They can then select the plan that best fits their needs. This partnership also helps Virgin Media O2 expand into the SIM-free device market. It adds to the company’s existing handset bundles and SIM-only services.
