Arcadia Capital appoints Jon Wesner as Managing Director, further deepening its technology advisory practice. Arcadia Capital’s leadership team expects the appointment to broaden the firm’s coverage of technology and tech services companies. Arcadia Capital also intends to spearhead global mergers and acquisitions and growth capital advisory initiatives.
Jon Wesner joins the firm’s senior advisory team and will be based in Los Angeles. Arcadia Capital’s strategy in digital media, entertainment technology and the industry ecosystems around them will be his responsibility. The appointment underscores the firm’s continued dedication to providing specialized financial advisory services to founders, investors and technology companies.
Jon has over 15 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and strategic advisory and growth capital transactions. Most recently, he was an investment banker at Harbor Ridge Capital. There, he founded and built the firm’s advisory practice in the fields of entertainment technology, music and intellectual property technology.
Jon also served in investment banking roles with AGC Partners, Berkery Noyes and Bryant Park Capital. In each of these roles, he advised clients in the areas of entertainment technology, marketing technology, fintech, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, data services, and education technology. Additionally, he has been involved in over 40 completed transactions in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, capital raising and strategic advisory services. The total value of those transactions was more than $2 billion in aggregate. Jon also holds a BA and an MBA from Penn State’s Smeal College of Business. He also holds the CFA Charterholder designation.
