Castles Technology has joined forces with Loomis Pay to drive its European Expansion through advanced payment solutions. Loomis Pay is the digital payment branch of the Loomis Group. They selected Castles Technology to provide versatile Android-based hardware for their merchants. This collaboration aims to improve how businesses handle cash, card, and digital transactions across the continent.
The partnership follows an extensive review of the current payment terminal market. Loomis Pay chose Castles Technology for its reliable and innovative Android devices. The rollout includes portable S1F4 Pro units and PINPAD S1P2 terminals. They will also deploy unattended S1U2M4 devices and the CasHUB TMS marketplace.
Successful Pilot and Scaled Rollout
A successful pilot program recently took place in Norway earlier this year. The technology is already active across 17 different locations in that region. Loomis Pay now plans to scale the deployment to other major markets. The initial phase covers Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Spain. This move ensures merchants receive fast integration and an enhanced POS experience.
“We are honored to support Loomis Pay in its mission to attract new customers,” said Jean-Philippe Niedergang, Acting Group CEO and EMEA-PACIFIC-LATAM CEO at Castles Technology. “Our Android devices deliver the innovation, reliability, and agility required to lead in the fast-changing payments landscape. With Loomis Pay’s expertise, agility, and strategic growth plans, we are excited to be part of their journey.”
“As a leader in innovation within cash, POS, and payments, Loomis is executing a clear strategic plan to transform the European cash, payments, and POS market, “said Erik Zingmark, MD Loomis Pay & CEO Loomis Digital Solutions AB. “Castles Technology’s expertise and responsiveness make them an ideal partner to support our expansion and ensure an excellent customer experience.”
