OneSource Virtual Launches Federally Chartered Trust Bank to Strengthen Treasury Management

OneSource Virtual

OneSource Virtual Launches Federally Chartered Trust Bank A major enhancement to treasury fund management, OneSource Virtual Trust Bank, N.A. launched. They has established a Federally Chartered Trust Bank under the supervision of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) offering direct federal oversight of customer funds. OneSource Virtual Launches Federally Chartered Trust Bank as part of its long-term strategy to improve trust, compliance and fiduciary management across its expanding treasury operations.

The charter, which was approved on July 1, 2026, came after years of planning and regulatory work. The initiative ends years of efforts to establish a dedicated banking entity to manage funds held on behalf of customers. Accordingly, OneSource Virtual is reinforcing its pledge to safe and transparent treasury operations.

The move comes as regulatory expectations are ramping up for firms processing large treasury volumes. Today, OneSource Virtual manages more than $250 billion in treasury funds each year. So it makes sense that as the company continues to grow in the financial services space, the next logical step would be setting up a federally regulated trust bank.

OSVTB is Exclusively Engaged in Fiduciary Fund Management

OneSource Virtual Trust Bank, N.A. (OSVTB) is a limited purpose national trust bank and is separate and distinct from OneSource Virtual, Inc. Its main job is to act in a fiduciary capacity to hold and administer customer funds. However, the institution does not accept public deposits, lend or provide traditional banking accounts. “It only protects the money in customer treasury accounts according to federal regulations.”

The bank’s governance also grows with the appointment of an independent board member, Blaine Luetkemeyer. Luetkemeyer has more than 30 years experience in banking. Earlier in his career he was a state bank examiner for Missouri. He later served on the U.S. House Financial Services Committee for more than 13 years and chaired the Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit. His appointment is to the board of the OSVTB only and does not extend to the corporate Board of Directors of OneSource Virtual.

“Our customers trust us with their money – and we’ve never taken that lightly,” said John Bax, CEO of OneSource Virtual. “Establishing OSVTB puts something more concrete behind that trust: direct federal oversight of how we hold and manage their money.”

The launch reflects OneSource Virtual’s continued investment in strengthening governance and customer protection. Moreover, the federally chartered structure enhances transparency while aligning treasury operations with evolving regulatory expectations.

“This has been a goal of ours for a long time, so it’s exciting to finally see it happen,” said Seanna Drewery, Vice President of Treasury at OneSource Virtual. “It means a lot to know our customers’ funds now sit inside a trust bank built and regulated specifically to protect them.”

With OSVTB now operational, OneSource Virtual strengthens its fiduciary framework while providing customers with greater confidence in how their treasury funds are managed under direct federal oversight.
