Huawei has launched its Huawei Fintelligent AI Solution for financial institutions worldwide. The company introduced the solution during HUAWEI CONNECT 2026 at the Global Finance Summit.
Jason Cao, CEO of Huawei Digital Finance Business Unit, delivered a keynote titled “Owning AI, Advancing Agent Banking.” During the event, he presented Huawei’s “Own AI, Own Intelligence” proposition to global financial customers.
Huawei’s Fintelligent AI Solution tackles key challenges in large-scale AI deployment. Those challenges include security, scalability and resilience across financial operations.
The solution allows financial institutions to introduce new AI capabilities across their enterprise. It also enables continuous development of enterprise AI architecture. To bolster this transition, Huawei is constructing three smart factories. They consist of an agent factory, a token factory, and a data knowledge factory. Together, these factories lay the groundwork for developing AI agents and financial intelligence. They also assist institutions to deal with data, knowledge, tokens and agent capabilities.
Jason Cao said, “Competition in financial AI is shifting from model capabilities to enterprise-wide AI system capabilities. Every financial institution must own its AI and control the choice and evolution of AI. Truly owning your AI doesn’t mean using a specific model or deploying multiple AI applications. It means being able to independently choose, operate securely, scale, and continually evolve your AI capabilities. Through open architecture, platforms, and computing, Huawei will work with customers and partners to scale AI into core business operations and accelerate the transition to agency finance.”
Huawei Expands Enterprise AI Capabilities
The agent factory focuses on expanding AI across financial enterprises. It helps banks build, launch, and manage AI agents at scale. As a result, financial institutions can move beyond isolated AI applications. They can instead develop broader enterprise analytics capabilities. The agent factory also supports the accumulation and reuse of agent assets. In addition, it provides unified management for those assets.
Huawei built these capabilities on the openJiuwen open-source financial platform. The platform supports multi-agent collaboration and enterprise-grade reliability. openJiuwen also provides computational convergence for financial institutions. It operates on a production-grade financial core. The platform delivers three core capabilities. These include stable long-term operations, financial-grade components, and unified development and operations.
Therefore, openJiuwen provides a unified foundation for enterprise AI. Financial institutions can build, launch, manage, and operate agents through one platform. Huawei also introduced TokeNexus during the summit. The solution provides full-lifecycle token operations for financial institutions. TokeNexus covers token planning, efficient production, intelligent scheduling, and global optimization. It also provides unified management over the full token lifecycle. TokeNexus also supports institutions in scaling AI and keeping costs under control. Operational reliability and supply stability are also supported.
Data Knowledge Factory Supported – Financial AI
Another big part of enterprise AI is taken care of by Huawei’s data knowledge factory. It converts bank data, documents and rules into usable knowledge. This knowledge enables AI agents to comprehend and utilize institutional information. It also lets agents work with information that financial institutions can rely on. Over time banks can accumulate this knowledge in their proprietary domain information. This approach enables more powerful internal analytics capabilities.
Huawei also launched the Financial Agentic Data Solution at the summit. The solution leverages data and knowledge pipelines that help financial agents. These pipelines provide agents with good data and knowledge. They also allow valuable information to flow continuously toward AI agents. The Data Knowledge Factory takes this further and creates a structured upgrade path. It moves financial institutions from providing data to delivering knowledge.
Huawei also showcased its AI coding solution at the summit. This solution relies on an ontology-based approach to modernization of legacy systems. It digs up valuable business rules embedded in legacy system code. Then it converts those rules into reusable knowledge assets. AI is able to understand and use these assets for modernization efforts. This allows financial institutions to fast track the modernization of core systems.
Huawei also joined banking, insurance, securities, and industry partners at the event. Together, they introduced the 2026 Huawei Global Financial Lighthouse initiative. The initiative highlights nine lighthouse practices across the financial industry. It also provides reference examples for digital and intelligent transformation. Huawei has worked closely with the financial industry for 16 years. Today, the company serves more than 7,100 financial clients worldwide.
It has financial customers in over 80 countries and regions. It has also had 54 of the world’s top 100 banks as clients. Huawei Fintelligent AI Solution is helping financial institutions to expand their enterprise AI capabilities. The approach integrates agent technology, token operations, and data knowledge management. The company also is positioning open architecture, platforms and computing as essential elements of this transformation. These capabilities enable financial institutions to build and operate AI at the scale of the enterprise.
