Desert Financial Credit Union has appointed a new Chief Financial Officer to enhance its leadership team. This is Jamie Britton, who has over 25 years of experience in the field of finance.
In addition, the new Chief Financial Officer will help the company continue with its growth strategy. Britton comes to the company from First Foundation Bank, where he worked as an executive vice president and chief financial officer.

Strong Leadership Background and Industry Expertise
In the past, Britton served as a leader of Texas Security Bank and Texas Capital Bank. His areas of expertise include financial planning, forecasting, and treasury management. Moreover, Britton served in the same capacity at SunTrust Bank and Andersen Consulting, which is currently known as Accenture.
Moreover, it should be noted that the Chief Financial Officer takes an active part in teamwork and analytics-based operations. He puts emphasis on team building and knowledge development. As a result, his knowledge and experience make a positive impact on the company’s financial operations and strategic vision. Britton received his master’s degree in quantitative and computational finance from the Georgia Institute of Technology. In addition, he is a graduate of Arizona State University, where he graduated with a major in mathematics. He is also a CFA chartered holder.
